When was the witch going to stop with her games?... Probably never, but at the very least it was sort of great that she was too busy hosting to try and set Alexandra up with one of the sons of some rich man she had no doubt invited to this lunch.
 
Instead Alex had moved herself to a bench at the edge of the party area and spent her time people watching and daydreaming (not at all avoiding the social event).
