Elijah chuckled softly, "Perhaps a little of the first.. but mostly the later?" He smiled more and briefly touched his hand but let go almost immediately so that no one would have caught them.

"I'll be only a little bit sorry, then," Anthony said, glancing briefly at his hand as Elijah touched it for a moment but then immediately let go. He can't wait to get home and be able to be acttually affectionate and such with no need to hide it.

Elijah nodded and smiled. "Simply because I can not return the favor." He glanced at him and then forward, wishing his hope would suddenly appear closer.

Anthony smiled, subconsciously picking up the pace a bit. He wanted to get home for more reasons than one. "Sure you can," he said, looking towards Elijah for a moment. Even though it probably didn't show, Anthony was very happy about...Elijah and. All this they were having.

Elijah rose his brow and smiled more. He matched his pace to hurry back. "I never would have known if you hadn't told me. You always seem so calm and together. I don't know if you ever get flustered.'

Being called calm was certainly relatively new for Anthony. "I do get...flustered and nervous, at times. At a lot of times, actually," he admitted. "I guess I should be a bit glad it doesn't show, then. Maybe." He wasn't sure.

"Perhaps because you are so used to it, you know how to hide it without even realizing it." Elijah smiled and shrugged.

"Maybe," Anthony said. He didn't usually analyze exactly how he was feeling and what he did because of that, so he wouldn't know, really. "I can certainly try to be more blushy and flustered, though." he laughed.

Elijah chuckled and shook his head. "Just keep being who you are. That's gotten us this far, hasn't it?"

"Just an offer," Anthony grinned. "but...I guess it has. I wasn't planning on actually changing myself in any big way anyways." He's done enough of that for a lifetime.
