Welcome to By Wit & Whitby!
We are a persistent world post-by-post roleplaying site. While By Wit & Whitby may be based on a real place, our world is primarily character-driven with the occasional optional site-wide plot.
People have traveled as long as they have had legs, and we encourage the character base to reflect that. We encourage historical accuracy to be used as a point of educated guesses about what may or may not be shown between the lines, rather than as a method to shoot concepts down.
