Anthony squinted in a very displeased way. This is irritating.
"No, it isn't," Anthony immediately retorted, a bit too out of it and not paying enough attention to realize what he had said. Whatever.

"Oh," he finally said amicably. "Well. Have a good night, sir."
And he started walking once more, putting as far a distance as he could between the quaint fellow and him, elbow grazing the building next to him.

Anthony was absolutely certain that he had been mocked and made fun of and he won't stand for it in the slightest.
Or, at least, he thought he wouldn't, until the guy just up and left the conversation.
"Wait." Anthony said, mostly to himself. That wasn't an outcome he expected. "You can't do that!" He doesn't even remember what exactly he's angry about but, he feels like he had a pretty solid reason to be. And so, he can't just...let the guy go like that.

Ropati could have outran him by simply picking up his pace, but now this guy was telling him what he could and couldn't do! He also kind of wanted to rub it in that a guy twice this bossy pint of mismatched drawers' age could outpace him just by strolling.

Anthony will absolutely not let this blow to his pride go so easily. Even though the fact that he had to basically speedwalk to even keep up with the guy was a bit of a pain, he was very determined and very annoyed by this guy, now. And even though a skinny little twink who is literally five feet tall and is having to basically jog to just keep up with you may have not been the most intimidating sight, Anthony didn't let that stop him. He can't just let this guy get away with mocking him like that!
"You're a dick."

He really should have picked up his pace.
He didn't.
"I see. And I am a dick because...?" he waved a large hand in a 'continue, please' sort of motion.

Jokes on him, Anthony is only slightly intimidated by him. Only slightly. Yeah.
"Because..." he glanced around for a moment, thinking. "you're an asshole."

He stuffed his hand back in his pocket, because ugh it was cold.
When the younger man was almost caught up to him, Ropati picked up his pace like a cat dancing just out of reach,
"Ah, yes," he answered agreeably, if not a little blandly. "An incredible asshole I am. Any other insights?"

Anthony frowned. He will not let this man best him.
"You're a moron, and—" Anthony tried to come up with another incredibly hurtful insult here. "—and I hate you." He isn't very creative, though.

Ropati pushed his glasses up his nose, for people who were nearsighted were automatically smart.
"Do you even know me, monse?"
