Will looked at the building uncomfortably. "Well, I'm gonna check some homes of her friends...." he said in an angry voice and he ran off.

"Maybe I've seen her..." One prostitute suggested. "Maybe not... I can't remember..." She held up her hand.

Elijah shook his head as Will ran off. Some people were raised just wrong to treat others as if they weren't human. He shrugged and walked up to the prostitute. "Yeah? Have you seen them? They have red hair , daughters of a fisherman..'

The woman scoffed. "My services aint free, constable." she said.

Elijah rose his brow and pulled out some money but didn't hand it over. "And I'm not a fool who will pay without making sure the information is accurate. What color was their eyes?" He hmmed eyeing her to see if she was serious. "Or what were they wearing? Answer that and I'll pay you for your information.'

"I wasn't payin' attention to their eyes." the prostitute said. Oh shit, there were two now? "They was dressed like fishing lasses, checked shawl and all." He had after all talked about a fishing girl.

Elijah looked unconvinced. "Can you do better? A color of their shawl or skirt? Something a bit specific. I don't want to be led astray after all, you understand."

The prostitute sighed. "Brown and red..." She tried, but she had already given up.
Another prostitute shouted. "Don't bother, Lizzie, he's just looking for a free ride!" Some of the women laughed.
'Lizzie' stepped a little closer, into his personal space, smirking, and she fumbled with the ties of her bodice, as if she was about to untie it right there. "Well, I have other services to offer, constable, an' I'll give you a reduction since I delayed you."

Elijah sighed and shook his head. "Not interested. I'm seriously trying to find some missing people. I wish you'd take it seriously too. If you or a friend of yours was in trouble, you'd be grateful I didn't get distracted."

The prostitute looked unimpressed. "If me or a friend of mine were in trouble, I'd be very grateful if ye got distracted." The women laughed.

He sighed and pinched the bridge of his nose. "You're just wasting my time. Is there anyone around who might actually be honest and helpful here l?"
