Ruth's smile widened. "Who talked about working hours?"

"Oh? I'm sure a lovely lady like yourself might be so busy, by the end of a day, she would want a well deserved nap." She added another excuse.

Ruth smirked scornfully and raised an eyebrow. "Definitely one of those guys."

He looked away immediately losing interest in her mystery. "And I am sure you are one of those women."

"I wouldn't be 'ere if I weren't, honey," she said. Where was this Mrs. Meijer? She really wanted to have sex tonight. Maybe she should go back to the baker. This bouncer was broken.

A low snicker came from him as that tickle in his spirit to mess with the situation. "Who said that's what I meant?"

Her eyes narrowed on him. "What did you mean, Toby?"

"It's Tony, and you're definitely one of those kinds of women. " He grinned in his miniature attempt at retaliation for the earlier part of the conversation.

Ruth rolled her eyes. "Whatever, Tony."
