"Thanks..." He put down his cup and turned to Elijah, resting his hand on Elijah's knee lightly. "I really appreciate your concern, Elijah..."

Elijah nodded and smiled, then froze and his eyes widened. "S-Simon? Um... a-are you.." He didn't want to say. If he was even slightly wrong, it could ruin their friendship. But his hand was on his knee. No one did that unless... did they? He stared at him.

Simon swallowed. Then he pulled his hand back. Bad idea. "Sorry, is something wrong?" he asked as if nothing strange had just happened.

Elijah laughed weakly and shook his head. "N-no.. you're fine. It must have been.. my imagination.. I thought.. never mind. You aren't like that at all.. " He sipped his tea again.

"Like what?" he said, moving a little closer.

Elijah shook his head. "You w-would think it was ... ridiculous.' He smiled apologetically. "I .. thought for a moment.. you were.. um.. trying to.. "He couldn't finish and smiled. "But you would never do that... You're normal.. " He said it so simply even though he had no basis, it just made since to always assume such a thing.

Still not sure what exactly he wanted to do, Simon looked at the fireplace instead and prodded again. "Have you never... wanted?"

Elijah pretended to be confused but he felt he was falling into something and tugged nervously at his collar. "Wanted? I mean.. everyone wants something.. Right?"

He looked at Elijah, gave him a coy smile and looked back at the fire. "Oh come on..."

Elijah's eyes widened. "A-are you suggesting.. about.. me wanting men? Are you ... you are!" Simon was a hypocrite but the man was more shocked. "Simon.. i.. I mean..."
