Unaware that his presence was resented, Tristan stepped in. "How've you been doing?" he asked.

"Fine enough," Anthony shrugged, as he closed the door, and went to sit down somewhere. "better, I think." That was mostly a lie.

Tristan looked at him. "Have you taken the medicine?" he got to the matter.

Oh, most definitely not. "Yep," Anthony blatantly lied, and leaned back in his seat.

"Good," he said, unaware that he was being lied to. "Mind if I check?"

"Not at all," Anthony said, shrugging his shoulders. "you do what you have to do."

"Same as last time. Prod that side of yours. I apologize in advance," he said. "If all went well, it shouldn't hurt anymore, or not as much."

That didn't seem so bad. He could probably fake his way through it just fine. "Apology accepted," Anthony nodded. "do what you will, then."

Tristan put his fingers in Anthony's side, and pressed gently, while his eyes were on Anthony's face to gage the response.

Anthony felt supremely uncomfortable, both from the touch itself, the pain he felt and the fact that the man was looking at him, though he did his very best to suppress it and keep a neutral face. Ow. He had no idea whether he was even doing a good job at it or not.
