"Now ser...." the bartender said.

Harry looked from the bartender to Anthony. "Bloody hell," he muttered, but he picked up his glass and downed it in one go. He set the glass down demonstratively and slid off his chair. That didn't go well. Harry fell down on the floor.

Anthony was kind of glad when the guy just finished his drink. He wasn't glad at all at what followed that, though. Anthony just sighed in pure, unadulterated exasperation. After a few moments of standing there and trying his best to pretend like he doesn't knoe this man, he just...tried to walk past him and get the fuck out of there.

Harry crawled up. "Hey! Hey! Wait for me!" He followed the other man out.

Oh, no. Anthony very reluctantly did wait for him, but he wasn't happy about it in the slightest. Rather, he was incredibly embarrassed. Anthony just sighed, holding his face in his hands in complete silence. This is why he doesn't go to pubs anymore.

"What a jerk, tossin' us out like that. I ain't comin' back here."

The bartender was probably leaping for joy.

Harry looked around. "There's a few pubs down this way." He pointed to the right along the street.

"Yeah. Yeah. He sure is." Anthony was just... he wasn't even sure, anymore. He felt as if he was going to cry as soon as the guy pointed out that there's other pubs here, too. But his current politeness made it so he couldn't just tell the guy to fuck off and go his own way. "Oh. Good."

"Let's go to one o' them!" And he started walking.

Anthony sighed. He didn't really want to go to any more pubs, but, fuck it. "...Yeah. Let's," he said, following the other man in complete silence. The universe really was against him, wasn't it?

Well duh.

Harry entered another pub, sat at the bar and ordered "One for me and one for me friend". He had by this time, completely forgotten that he had children at home. If ever that had been a consideration to begin with.

Anthony had basically just resigned himself to this fate. There was nothing foe him to do, now, so might as well tag along and drink with this random stranger who he literally just met. "Yeah. Thanks," he nodded, just wanting to get back to drinking.
