Benny wiggled the box before her face. "Good, take the gift. I don't want to carry it any longer. But I'll be cross if you don't try to help a friend out."

Rose folded her arms. "I won't be bribed. It ain't easy finding a job at the moment and I have plenty a things on me mind."

Benny dropped the box on the table, not carrying about the noise it made. "Women are so difficult." He grumbled and sighed looked over at her. "Fiiiine, what things are on your mind?"

"Family business. I need to get back to work, Noah. "

Benny rose a brow curiously. "Is it cause your sister is the town slut? At least that's what she said she was.." He then smiled. "Noah? Who's that? You seeing a boy now?" He spoke teasingly. "So flattered I remind you of him."

"Ugh. Benny! Never mind!" The wicked boy had been on her mind. "Wait..." she looked at the young man and narrowed her eyes. "Who told ye about me sister?"

Benny rose his brow. "How do you think I found out where to find you?"

"You talked to her?" She grasped. "How was she? Is she alright?"

Benny folded his arms and looked away. "Rude as ever. Seems emotional. And angry. But physically fine?"

Rose looked relieved. "You could have gotten her in trouble." Rose said.
