Elizabeth was glad to hear that he was well, she smiled brightly, she knew that having food might encourage the children to church.
“I don't believe I have heard of Mr. Meijer.” Elizabeth replied gently
She wondered who he was and what he meant to the church, she looked around for her parents as she handed Gabriel some left over bread.
“Here for the poor, just don't tell my parents.”
