Mark had finished for the day and was heading back to see Hortencia when he decides to walk through the town. It wasn't a bad day and he decided to take a shortcut through the market.

He decided quickly get a pint because the heat of the day was starting to creep up and he walked into the nearest public house.

He propped himself at the bar and got himself a pint and sat and relaxed when this young girl came into the bar and he could see by the look on her face she was struggling. He looked to the bar keep and asked. "Glass of water and a glass of lemonade my son!"

It wasn't long before he returned with the two drinks and Mark paid remarking to keep the change. He placed them on a nearby table with his pint before walking over to the young woman. "Breathe through your mouth and out your nose. It will help with the smell. Come on sit down and rest."
