Elijah flushed with embarrassment. "I hadn't recognized her. It's been a while since I saw her. I was desperate." He said excuse after excuse. He was still a mess, but it was nice she was laughing at him over something this ridiculous and treated him like normal. "I know. I didn't even give her any reason. I told her it wouldn't work out and she got angry at me, I guess." He sighed and shook his head then looked over. "Nothing yet.. I am going to talk to her soon. But I'm not certain what to say. I'm afraid if I'm not careful she'll make it worse, you know?"
