Anita wandered off, found her actual husband, felt a vague sense of disappointment, and chugged it down.
Some time mid-day, however, a bicycle rang out a jaunty ring. It came to a halt, and the sound of metal hitting wood suggested it leaned against a tree nearby.
“Someone here?” she called, voice parched.
