Darius looked somewhat startled at seeing the valet. Perhaps he thought the artist was roughing it with as few people as possible. Which was silly, even if he'd wanted to be totally 'alone' he'd have had at least a maid and someone to receive his visitors and other things.

He cleared his throat and tried to stand tall and more formal for a moment. "Ah.. hello. I'm Darius Carrington. He should be...expecting me?"
