Anthony followed Perrine into the cargo hold, suspending his excitement for now. He wasn't actually thinking that there'll be anything interesting or particularly valuable there, so he chose to not get his hopes up. Looking into the barrel as Perrine opened it, at first glance he was...disappointed. Was she joking. That skepticism disappeared rather quickly, though, when she brushed away the layer of soot, and lo and behold — four pistols. That in itself was not so surprising. It was Perrine's diagnosis of how much they cost, that was surprising. "Holy shit." A hundred pounds is a lot of money.
He took the guns and laid them down on another barrel delicately, careful not to ruin the goods. This was a pleasing enough catch, and he was expecting to be able to take the guns and go, now — he wasn't sure whether he was pleased or not by it not being the end of this. He returned to Perrine's side as she called him back, and looked at the... the coins? Was that what they were? He couldn't see well right now. "You're fucking with me." That was the only explanation. Regardless of his disbelief, he did as she told, and went to carefully look for more.
