He hoped her sister wouldn't think it was strange that he, a man of advancing years, had proposed to Percy and been accepted. The last thing he wanted was for there to be strange feelings. He wasn't so much worried if her parents liked him because they didn't really matter much in the equation other than formalities. Percy had seemed to make it clear that she wasn't much concerned about her parents either... she was more worried about seeing her sister.
