Perrine gave a soft huff of laughter. "Oh, I think it will be." The lantern light brought into view a wrecked schooner as they kept walking, the same ship she'd found yesterday morning. The stern, broken off from the rest of the ship, was mostly up out of the water and half of the prow was underwater, with the belly of the wrecked beast firmly stuck on the side of the sandbar. Perrine started to point out good places to look and how to avoid getting splinters or scrapes (she handed him a pair of gloves from her pocket as well). She meant to search what of the prow she could without getting too wet and so she sent Anthony to search the schooner's middle and stern, intending to go over them after him once she was done with the prow. "Look for chests, armoires, crates, any sort of container. Sometimes there're notches in the walls that've been knocked loose from the crash- rich folk like their secret compartments, an' if your lucky, you might find one with something of value." Perrine's brow furrowed and she grabbed Anthony's arm if he turned to do as she said. "And if you see any, well, any bodies- call for me." Shipwrecks weren't always a cut-and-dry affair, especially considering this one had to be fairly new or it would have been clearly picked clean by other Beachcomber before now.
