"I've only been here for a few days," he said by way of reply. "I have not yet memorized this town." He gave a smile and paused, then asked, "And yourself?" He regarded her with a tilted head to let her know that he was a listener. His warm green eyes met hers at some point as he waited for her reply, and he gave an encouraging nod. He who had been a dreamer once upon a time would not have told her she was wrong for having a dream. He knew what it meant to chase the dream, having fulfilled his a long time ago. Of course, there was one other dream he had but he didn't chase it anymore because he was too worried about loving again, but that was beside the point.
