Elijah shook his head. "You shouldn't use your strength to bully people. Those are the types that I end up having to arrest. You're a nice kid and I'd like to think you grow up into a nice adult." He knelt down and started the fire, but his hands shake when he lit the match, having a time doing the actual starting as his anxiety and fear started to well up.

"Well, they'll be so afraid they'll do what I tell 'em to, anyway... Why are ye shakin'?"

"I don't agree.. It is actually sad to hear you talk about that. I don't like people who scare or try to make others do what they want just because they can.' Elijah admitted.

Bram blushed an looked down. "Sorry.." he muttered. He looked for the light box.

Elijah reached out and patted his head. "Hey, it's ok. You're used to seeing bigger people getting their way and it's natural to think that's the way to be. But it doesn't work as well as it seems, certainly not for a happy life."

Bram looked up at Elijah sadly. "You don't dislike me?"

Elijah shook his head and lightly hugged the boy. "I like you a lot! You are a good boy who has just had a hard time. I think you don't really want to make others cry or hurt them."

Bram hugged Elijah. "Only some people, but they deserve it!"

"Well I think then it is best to try to avoid them and let them make themselves miserable instead of spreading it to you, right?" He smiled hugging him more before helping to light the fire.

"But what if they don't leave me alone?" Bram asked.
