James looked at his and pursed his lips skeptically.

Anthony frowned, way too annoyed to even bother with crying anymore. "If it'll make you feel better then I'll drink water, then, I guess." Anything to stop James interrogating him about whether he's SUUUURE that he's not drunk.

"Why were you crying?" the boy asked.

Alright, then he won't drink water. What the hell does this child want from him. "I guess I was just.....tired and emotional and overdue on some crying," he shrugged. "sorry." He didn't want this to ruin their relationship.

"Why?" James asked.

"Because sometimes people repress their emotions until they can't take it anymore and it all comes out in one big, violent burst of emotiom and tears."

James frowned as he tried to understand what the man was saying. Suddenly, his face cleared up. "Like when you need to use the privy but you keep it in for a long time, and then you do a very big poop?" he suggested.

Anthony raised his eyebrows, sighed, and then nodded sagely. "Yes, James, exactly like that."

"Well..." he said. "I hope you feel better now..." He patted the man's arm.
