"You don't really look capable of anythin'," she commented. Ugh, this guy was annoying.

Francis smiled. "The fact you're here makes me think you're not a great judge of character. If you were nice I might have shared my coin since I'm going to get a drink after here." It was a bluff, there was no way he was sharing his fortune with someone who broke into his sanctuary.

"Like you 'ave coin," she scoffed. "I don't need yer money. I can get my own."

Francis shrugged. "It wasn't about charity. I'd never give anyone a coin for asking. It's about making friends."

She wrinkled her nose. "Why would I want to be your friend?"

Francis rose a brow. "Do you have any at all?"

"Yes!" No.

Francis smiled almost sweetly, "Then you know you can never have enough friends."

"You can 'ave bad friends," she retorted. She looked at the window again. "Jesus fucking Christ," she muttered under her breath.

Francis rose his brow. "Then those aren't really friends. You're just fooling yourself.'
