Angus was a lil surprised that the bastard took the punch so well. He knew what was coming, so he did a pretty stupid thing. He tilted his head down, so instead of his nose, the bastard's head would connect with Angus' head. It would hurt both of them pretty badly, he figured, but he was all for it if it hurt the bastard. Otherwise, he needed to kick him or something and just run for it. Too bad, he thought, he really liked it here. Oh well.

Damn the man, he thought. He threw a punch after he got done reeling from the pain in his forehead. The bastard. "Just pay me what ye owe me, toad!" He threw another punch. The ones that made contact would likely hurt.

What the hell?  That should have dropped the bastard onto the floor, thought Angus. His head was rattling from his damn fool stunt. What the hell was he gonna do now?  He couldn't pay the bastard even if he wanted to, he didn't have the money, but he wasn't gonna work for the bleeding liar either because he had too much pride to work in a butcher's shop.  As he saw two punches heading his way, he tried to block them with his arms only to have them hit himself in the face.  Maybe it softened the blows, he wasn't too sure.

And he still wanted his money.  "Bollocks!" Angus said.  "I'll make you another bet, double or nothing."  If he said, no, he would have to kick him and make a run for it.  How the hell did this butcher get so goddamned strong?  Shit!

"Why would I make another bet wit' ye?" he snarled. He lifted his hand to his forehead, which still hurt. He was going to have a headache later. "Ye know what, ye're not worth it." He shoved Angus away from him and said, "Ye're a fool, ye ken?" Bruce turned toward the barkeep, slapping down the money for anything they may have broken in the fight. "One day, someone is goin' ta be less merciful than I am, and ye're gonna be sorry ye ever fucked wit' the wrong person." With that, he started to walk away.

The butcher should find himself a woman instead of wrestling with his sides of beef, he thought. Goddamn! Was the butcher strong! That hit to his head would've made most men fall to the floor, either in pain or unconscious, Angus thought. But he didn't say anything to the butcher as he left. He knew when he lucked out and didn't get badly damaged. If he didn't change the tilt of his head, Angus thought he would've had a really bad broken nose.

He would do to find weaker men to irritate in the future, he noted. Meanwhile, he wanted to eat. Unfortunately, during the fight, everything on the table was now on the floor. Angus found the piece of fish and picked it up. He put it on the table, since the plate had been broken. He also lamented the mug of ale, which he could use now for his aching head. He found the knife and fork and like if nothing happened, he started eating the fish.

As he ate, he noticed the owner of the place eying him. He didn't look happy. So he ate quickly and after he was finished, he went to the bathroom. He was hoping to find an exit, but there wasn't any. So he waited and tried to figure out how he was going to get outta here. He looked at the window and thought he might be able to climb out of it. So what if he didn't pay his bill, he wasn't thinking of setting foot in the place again anyway. Not after the butcher. So he climbed up on the toilet and squeezed through the window. It took a while, but he was able to leave the bathroom. He could imagine the stupid proprietor waiting outside the bathroom for him to step out. Shit! he thought, he forgot to unlock the door. Oh well, good bye Rooster.
