Awkward silence. "Well, it sure is good that you're alright, then," Anthony said, and rest his hand on the man's arm. It was just a friendly gesture, to him.

Tobias tensed up. That was it! He lifted his glass again and managed to drink the last bit in one go. "Yeah... I should head back to t' inn and catch an early night..." he lied.

Anthony was confused. He pulled his arm away from him and leaned back a little bit. "It's not even evening yet." It wasn't even close to being evening.

Was it not? He had been here a while and had forgotten time. Darn. "Well... I need to get something to eat first, and I'm not sure I'd like the food here..." Whew!

"You haven't even tried it." Why did this guy seem like he was in such a hurry to leave, all of a sudden?

"Well..." he looked around. "Do you know the food here?"

"Yeah. It's pretty good," Anthony shrugged. He couldn't remember whether he's actually eaten anything here or not, but the food was probably fine.

"Right..." Okay, he was just going to have to be clearer to this guy...
