It took quite a bit of time until Anthony managed to calm down somewhat. He was by no means calm, but he was calmer than before. That was something. Anthony looked up, and wiped his tears away with the back of his hand. "Sorry. Sorry," he said, rather frantically.

"It's okay..." Ben said awkwardly, still trying to make sense of what had just happened. "I didn't mean to upset ye so..." Well, he kind of had back then.

Anthony rubbed his eyes, and rest his chin on his knees. "It's—" he didn't really know what to say. He wanted to just brush it off with an 'it's fine' or something, but...it wasn't fine. "but you did."

Ben frowned. He didn't know what to say. "I... just meant to help. I don't see why ye should toss yer life away like that..."

Ben wasn't helping him, at all. "Maybe you– maybe you should stop trying to help." Anthony didn't want to elaborate about the suicide thing, so he just chose to ignore the fact that Ben mentioned it.

Ben thought for a moment, took a deep breath, and then said: I'm sorry. I..-" He shook his head. He considered bringing up Simon, but chose against it.

"You should be," Anthony said, rather impulsively. He considered for a moment if that was a bit cruel... but then just came to the conclusion that it didn't matter because Ben kinda had it coming.

Ben frowned, rather offended. He got up and walked back to the door.

Anthony scowled, but decided to not stoke the fire any further, and said nothing. He just kind of glared angrily at the darkness, muttering something about Ben being an asshole under his breath.

Ben went back to making all the noise he could, not caring a wit about whether it annoyed Anthony.
