RE: Business to settle - Elijah Crane - 06-07-2020

"Ah.. well.. I think he isn't happy with me for.. choices I've made. I want to apologize for troubling him." Elijah looked away and rubbed his neck. "But don't worry, just take it easy."

"Oh. Okay." Anthony didn't bother with trying to question it. He didn't want to have to think a lot, right now. "When can I go home?" Back to the usual, then. Anthony really wanted to go home, if it wasn't already obvious enough. He didn't want to stay here for longer than was necessary.

Elijah shook his head. "You're very dizzy when you try to stand. You need to take it easy and we will go home soon. Just relax, you'll be home before you know it. I just don't want to risk your health. I'm very worried for you."

"Okay. I trust you." Anthony didn't really understand why Elijah was so against them going home, but he didn't bother with questioning it. His reasoning felt good enough, and so he trusted that it was good and he shouldn't argue. "...I'm tired."

He smiled weakly and helped him lay back again. "Just rest. I might have to wake you again, but you have to recover."

Anthony nodded a bit drowsily as Elijah spoke, and helped him lay down again. "I love you," he said, his brain-to-mouth filter completely gone, now. It was a blessing that there was noone in the room except for them. As soon as he got comfortable on the sofa again, he closed his eyes and fell asleep very quickly.

Elijah was shocked by his words. He smiled weakly and pulled up the blanket. "You aren't feeling well. You should rest." He didn't even know how to respond yet and wasn't sure to take it too seriously.

Anthony fell asleep slowly enough to be able to hear Elijah say that, but still quite quickly. He pulled the blanket closer to him and nodded slightly yet again, before he just finally drifted off into unconsciousness. He was much less bothered by his statement than Elijah seemed to be — not that he'd know what the man's feeling, right now.

Elijah smiled and squeezed his hand. "Sleep well. I will get you home soon." He eased up when the man was asleep and his mind had a lot to go through.

Anthony just subconsciously held onto Elijah's hand and pulled it closer and towards his face, his grip tight at first, though it became weaker the longer he was asleep. He didn't want Elijah to leave, hence why he was doing that — not that he'd be able to say that, though, considering that he was asleep.
