Kit knows he is a curse.
His first memory is of his father crying, holding a picture of a woman he did not recognize. Later, he would learn not from his father that the woman was his mother, and she was dead. Next, he would learn that he killed her.
Before Kit had taken his first breath, he was a murderer, and he carried that guilt everywhere he goes.
Growing up, he was ignored by his father almost completely. Kit was taken care of my neighbors and friends, and learned to take care of himself in their absence. He had never felt any kind of anger or resentment for his father for the way he was treated; he wouldn’t let a murderer sit at his table and feed him either.
Despite the sad circumstances of Kit’s homelife, he tried his best to be a good influence on those around him. He loves playing games and works hard, studies harder in hopes to one day become a doctor.
Maybe, if he can save enough lives it will make up for the one he took. |
