Eddie is not yet tall for his age, something he quietly blames on being malnourished in his young childhood. He is thin for the same reason, but lean with muscle. He has fair skin, decorated with freckles on his face and arms and faded scars everywhere else. Shoulder length wavy brown hair, kept long so his sister could learn to braid and left that way. Lately, Eddie can be found in slightly tattered and dirty clothes, not yet having the time or luxury to be able to wash or tailor them properly. |

Eddie will tell those who ask that he was born in the Autumn of 1877 to a mother he’d never known and a bitter father. Years later, he’d get a sister in similar circumstances and raised her best he could under the same roof as their sadistic father.
And then, just around Eddie’s 17th birthday, their father committed suicide in a drunken stupor. A tragedy.
Upon finding his body, Eddie took his sister in his arms and left and never looked back. |
