When she finally spoke, she explained what happened in more detail, how she had gone to a walk on the beach alone like an idiot, her words, and a drunken man, a pirate, had held her captive for a time. "I'd never been so terrified in my life. And now every time I close my eyes, I can see the man's face and smell the sour scent of his breath...
