I have an extra pair of rubber 'uns in my shed, so we're going there first." And indeed, as they walked over a small dune, a small cottage appeared with a ramshackle shed attached to its side. Perrine waved for him to look around if he wanted as she fetched the boots (those of which would likely fit him, as she was an inch taller than him and thus the slight but similar height difference would compensate for any slightly larger feet of his) and also two well-worn scarves. The wind tended to nip at one's neck and face when out on the seashore and sandbars, and although tonight had been light in the ways of wind, Perrine wanted to be prepared. She came out of the shed and kicked the door shut behind her with a grace she hadn't had in the tavern. It seemed that closer to the sea and her cottage, she felt more at home and thus more focused.
