Rose was a little overwhelmed, and she quietly let the maid fuss and take her measurements, putting her arms up and down and moving as the woman commanded. "Oh, I do hope I don't make yer workday all too long, Tilly," she said, when she had found her voice again. "You are such an angel. Please, you must come to my wedding as well." And suddenly she blushed, for she realized she had invited both servant and mistress as guest. "If... Miss Pearl is alright with that..." she added embarrassed.

"I'd be happy ta go to yer wedding, Miss," stated the maid. Pearl only smiled and nodded, then clapped her hands. "What a beautiful bride you are going to be!"

"And ye don't have ta worry about me workday, miss. I am happy ta help. Miss Pearl is a generous woman and treats me well." She winked and then began writing down things. "We'll have yer dress in no time a'tall."

Rose smiled when Tilly said Pearl treated her well. "Well, I'm glad of it." So different from her own... Rose gasped. "Oh goodness! Oh no!" She panicked and started trying to take the dress off. "Oh no, oh no.... I completely forgot the time! I forgot I was on an errand even! Oh no!" She struggled with her dress, being in such a hurry that she only seemed to trap herself in it.

"Woah, slow down," said Tilly, and then she moved to help her out of the dress. "Ye don't want to tear it, eh?"

Pearl handed Rose's clothing to her so she could dress quickly.

"Oh, no I don't!" Rose said, letting Tilly help her. Then she quickly got dressed. "Mr. Meijer will be even more awful if he finds out how long I've been gone and he needed something in the mean time." She took Pearl's hands. "Thank you so much. And thank you, Tilly. You're both so kind." Then she sped out of the house to finish her errand.
