The boy was already on him and he punched him, probably blackening his left eye.  The boy was going in his pockets.  Caelan had to stop him before he found the lil brat's sling shot.  He used his hand to try to get the bigger boy's hands out of his pocket where the sling shot was.  He tried to turn over but wasn't able to under the kid's weight.  He tried to punch the boy's nose as hard as he could, hoping to break it.  

He could only wonder what his new employer would think if he came into work early the next morning with his face proof he had gotten into a fight.  Would he be able to keep the job and his beautiful new apartment?  Hopefully, he would allow him to explain before he fired him.
