"Such is life," Mehmet said instead, but it didn't stop him from nodding along with Francis' words.
He glanced to the stolen plant, took the rag, scrunched his nose then wiped it with it.

Francis shrugged and gave the man a crooked smile. "We should all help our fellow man when we can, right? I hope your illness passes soon as you can. I'd help but.." He shrugged. "I'm a rather weak sort these days, I don't think I could compare to a strong lad such as yourself." He also didn't want to risk dropping the plant and this guy taking it back.
