He inhaled sharply again and gritted his teeth. "Fine. Just stay away from 'im. 'e's got enough expenditures, and shouldn't lose money on ye. And stay away from me daughter."

"He's a grown man, I'm sure he doesn't need you policing who interacts with him," Anthony scoffed, and took a second to finish his drink. "I don't care about your daughter."

Frustrated, Ben rose. "Get a proper job."

Eye-roll. "Thanks, you've convinced me."

Ben gave him a look of disgust but then turned and walked away. There was no use in talking to that one.

And finally, he left. Took some damn time. Anthony sneered at him, and then went right back to pretending he doesn't exist.
