Noah smirked. "I think it's the ladies who are picky..."

Wesley snickered, "If that was true, you wouldn't be in this mess."

"Oh what, you came here because you couldn't get a woman?" He was actually getting tired of this, but also did not want the constable to win the argument.

Wesley sighed. "What on earth does a woman have to do with me doing a friend a favor? Do you think I'd tell a lady of mine to move out here when I do not know how long I'll be here? And to make it worse, bring her to the station? I didn't think you could be dumber than you look, but you surprised me."

"Yeah well," ... he was losing this argument so hard. "I hope you don't stay long!"

Wesley looked back down as he wrote things down. "Neither do I. Your town is a cesspool and the people are even worse."

"Ah well, they always attract flies..." he said, glaring at the constable.

Wesley agreed and grinned. "That's why they had to hire someone to clean up the mess."
