[CW: Homophobia]

God, he hated this town. There were only a few intelligent and accomplished people. The rest of the lot were dull-witted fishing folk, jet makers, and the odd shop owner. It seemed Richards had chased a good deal of the more interesting people away too. What had he done to deserve this?

He had visited one of the more interesting people this evening and that had cheered him up a little. But he had drunk a bit more than he probably should have, and as he walked back to the presbytery - for it wasn't too far to walk - it started to affect him and everything around him seemed depressing and dull once again. He sighed loudly.

Now that he had at least a bit of money, Anthony had gone drinking again. That decision was probably going to come back and bite him in the ass, but, whatever. Right now he was very happy with what he had done.

Anthony was just making his way home from the pub, and bumped into a man on accident. He kept walking for about a second, unbothered by it, until he finally comprehended what just happened. He turned around sharply. "Oi! Watch where you're going!" Because it was the other guy's fault, surely.

Of course it would get worse. George had tried to sidestep the man. But a drunk waggle was hard to sidestep and so the other man still clashed into him. But George was more shocked by the fact that the other man kept going. He opened his mouth to say something, when out of nowhere the man turned and shouted at him. Ugh. How he hated Whitby. How dared someone talk to him like that! Was it not clear from his cassock and saturno that he was a priest! "You bumped into me, sir!" he said, quite offended.

Oh, so now this guy's trying to put the blame on him. The audacity. "We both know what happened, and that ain't it!" Anthony was absolutely certain that he was the innocent one, here, and there was no convincing him otherwise.

George frowned offended. What an unpleasant fellow. But he wasn't going to fight someone who was clearly drunk. He dusted off his cassock with his hands demonstratively, and then turned to walk on.

Anthony, on the contrary, was absolutely ready to throw hands with this guy. He almost considered letting the man go and just going their own ways, but he quickly decided against it, and turned to follow him. It took a bit for him to be able to catch up with him, but when he did, he just walked beside him and looked up at him disapprovingly. Bastard really thought he could do that and run off, huh? Well, he can't.

George jumped a little when the man appeared beside him all of a sudden and just kept walking along. He had heard that Richards had gotten mugged in this town and he didn't want the thugs to turn on him. "Please leave me alone," he said, his voice a little higher than usual.

Asking Anthony to stop bullying priests is like asking a fish to stop swimming. It won't work. "No," he said, and kept walking beside the man, and staring up at him with a very displeased look on his face. "wanker."

George was absolutely shocked. Even the dreadful Kitty Calamity was not that rude! "On my word..." He walked on faster.

Anthony picked up his pace. He was never going to leave this man alone. "Noone loves you." Because that's an appropriate reaction to bumping into someone.
