Wesley was clearly proud of himself. "I am glad we have that out of the way. You two are already better behaved. Anyway I do have to speak to some people around that area to see who else might have seen this attack or would know who hangs around our friend, Mister Rowe. Until then..." he turned to step out.

Noah didn't say anything. This guy was dangerous. He kept his eyes down.

"Of course, sir," Anthony repeated himself. He was much too afraid to risk being impolite or a nuisance in any way, right now. His hands were shaking. "goodbye, sir." As soon as the man couldn't see him anymore, he buried his head in his hands and started crying in silence.

When the constable was gone, Noah looked up at Anthony and noticed the man was crying. But he didn't know what to say and so he looked down again, pulled up his legs and hugged his knees.

Wesley returned a couple of hours later. "Well, no one has seen this description, but I have found some interesting information. No one seemed surprised either of you are in jail." He laughed as he at to write again. "Are you sure no one wants to change their stories?"

A few hours was more than enough time for Anthony to get his shit together and stop crying like a child. As soon as Wesley returned, though, he felt like he was really close to being pushed over the verge again. "My story doesn't need changing," he responded to the constable's question. He looked to Noah and raised his eyebrows inquisitively.

Noah looked at Anthony. If he was going down, he was taking Anthony along. "Neither does mine," he said coolly.

Wesley nodded and wrote a few things down. "Alright. Well then, I will let you two sleep for the night and I will check on you in the morning. I am afraid until things are cleared up, neither of you will be let out." He laughed. "I have to protect Mr. Longbottom but you are also here for assaulting him. And you, Mr. Rowe, are here for possibly attacking him."

Anthony sighed. He looked away from Noah, and just leaned his head back and stared at the ceiling. "Fuck you." He was too irritated to try and remain polite and docile. Was he really going to be kept here for god knows how long because some kid lied? As soon as they get out he's going to beat the shit out of him. Bastard deserves it.

Noah lay back on his bed. Fine with him. Anthony's words, rather than offending him, satisfied him a great deal.
