Anthony shrugged. "Maybe so." He still stood by what he said, though, and no amount of insults would make him not do that. "Cops don't see reason, they just do whatever it is that gives them power and takes it away from others. Hence why I would love if they all died." He didn't care if they were listening to him or not, he just needed to talk.

Elijah put a hand to his forehead as Anthony was driving him crazy but didn't say or look at him. "He will probably not go through with it. He does love his family. But I think it should open your eyes that you need to focus more on your family. So you need to get out of here.." He tried to resume his paper work. Wesley could be back any moment.

Noah ignored Anthony. He didn't reply to Elijah, and decided to just sulk on his own.

So the conversation was over? Great! "Ain't it all a trial, Noah?" Anthony laughed and patted the kid on the shoulder a few times, just to annoy him.

What was going on? Why was this so hard? He stared at the paper before him, then at the young man in the cell. He walked over and waved the paper at him. "What am I fighting to free you for? Are you going to leave here and not change a thing? I want to help you find a job and let you take care of James. But you have to want it."

"Fuck off." Noah told Anthony and he tried to shove him away. He turned back to Elijah. "What!? I did not say owt!? What am I doin' wrong now?!"

Anthony was completely unbothered by that, and just threw his arm around Noah's shoulder as if they were best friends. A scowl appeared on his face as if on instinct when Elijah started spewing that bullshit again, but he suppressed it and simply smiled bright as he put up his middle finger at him.

Elijah shook his head. "At the moment, nothing. But i don't want you growing up to still be childish.. like that!" He gestured towards Anthony then focused back on Noah. "I dont want you feeling gloomy about James. I just don't want this to be like every other time I tried to help you out."

Here he was, being told off again. He didn't even do anything! "Fuck off!" He shouted at the constable, and he got up to get away from Anthony. "And you!"

Anthony was pretending that that didn't affect him. He didn't grace Elijah with a reaction, and just kept smiling as if he had no idea what was going on.  "But Nooooaaaaaah," he whined as soon as the kid got up, but wasn't actually very bothered by it, and just sprawled out on the bed now that he was alone on it. "I thought we were best friends." He is definitely doing a very good job of proving that he is not childish.
