Anthony was not so proud as to not accept free money. He wasn't going to go to the doctor anyways, so, it was even better. "Oh, thank you," he thanked the man, flashing a brief smile at him and accepting the money. "ain't that nice of you."

"It's alright. It was my fault..." Gabriel said, glad that he could do a little bit to handle his mountains of Catholic guilt.

"Yeah, it was, but it's all good now," Anthony said. Money fixes everything, and this was absolutely no exception.

Gabriel gave a nod. "I'm Gabriel Richards by the way." He held out his hand.

Oh if only Gabriel knew who he was talking to.

Much like Gabriel, Anthony also had no idea of who he was talking to. "Anthony Rowe," he also introduced himself, shaking the man's hand.

"Nice to meet you, Mr. Rowe. My church is always open to you, and I promise I won't lock you in again," he tried to lighten the mood.

Inviting Anthony to a church wasn't really the best way to befriend him, but this guy seemed nice so he looked past this one thing.  "Thank you," he said, "and, well, I mean.....I'd hope you wouldn't." Anthony laughed awkwardly.

Gabriel smiled. "Well..." he didn't really know what to say. "I hope your injuries heal soon, Mr. Rowe." He tapped his saturno hat.

Anthony fidgeted uncomfortably, and winced as he unintentionally shifted his weight to his bad leg. "Uh, you too," he said. Awkward. "I mean– you know what I mean, right?"

"Sorry?" Awkward.
