Christmas Beat - Alasdair Maclellan - 12-24-2023

As always. The Constabulary ran with a shorter staff but today would make it even tighter because It was Christmas. Some lads had requested to be off to spend time with their families while others wanted to save their time off for the better weather.

Alasdair came in early that morning, he let the nightshift away early to get some sleep before spending time with their families.

The fire had been lit and the kettle was brewing over the stove. He'd brought in food for later aswell as he was sure that the constables would welcome some warm food

Being a coastal town whitby never saw much in the way of snow but it was bitterly cold. The greatcoats hung near the stove to dry out before patrolling on the beats.

Alasdair walked over to his desk with a fresh cup of tea and sat at his desk thumbing through the paperwork of the day before seeing who had to be realised from the drunken nights out and drunken brawls from Christmas eve. He also waited on the shift to arrive.
