murder mystery? Fisherman fishing during a storm [Harbor, Beach, and Sea] - Valo - 01-15-2022 A name rested at the tip of Valo's tongue, a face came to mind as well. The face belonged to the name, it seemed. He focused on pulling in nets of fish, alongside the other fishers. His eyes were squinted, trying to not catch any of the light that glared off of the ocean. He hummed something to him, to try and keep focused. He felt as though he should have pulled his hair back to keep it out of his face. The wind whipping against his neck and face didn't help either. It seemed that there was an unexpected storm set to roll in soon. They couldn't turn back now, as they were set to be there for the rest of the day and the next two, assuming the ship captain would keep them all out in this soon to be horrid weather. Finally, he whispered the name to himself, unheard by anyone else. Valo sighed quietly to himself, hoping that the storm would pass quickly and do no harm. RE: murder mystery? Fisherman fishing during a storm - Aslan Koç - 01-15-2022 That suspect had kept him longer than he’d hoped. By the time the pier was in sight, a storm was whipping up. The news had not predicted rain. He would not have worn one of his better fake mustaches out had the news predicted such. Did he still have time to hit the docks? He supposed he had foregone a wig, and this hat was well-fitted. There was a man pulling fishing net, and thus far it was just wind. Well, mostly wind. A quick question, and then he could hurry off. “Excuse me, sir!” Aslan called in a bit posher an accent than one might expect from these parts, looking a good deal older than he actually was. Allah Allah. He hoped Nisa paid little attention to where her makeup went. “My son was by here – little shorter than you, but not by much! Blue eyes, bushy brows, could wrestle an ox one-armed! Seen him?” RE: murder mystery? Fisherman fishing during a storm - Valo - 01-15-2022 Valo turned around, confused at first. "What's his name", he asked, letting the net of fish hit the deck, "I'm not sure I've seen him. How old is he anyway?" He raised an eyebrow, taking observing the shorter man. "How did you get on board?" He brushed his damp hair out of his face and crossed his arms over his chest, suspicious. Valo was curious as to who this man was, "Have you alerted anyone else about him?" He furrowed his eyebrows, trying to think of anyone, other than his uncle, who would resemble him in the slightest. Valo kept to himself a lot, aside from the rowdy phase he had in his teens. He moved towards Aslan, recounting the stories his mother told him about his father before she passed. Should he ask any more questions regarding this topic or should he let the man continue? Besides, he had been told that the man was from Finland, so He was automatically out of the question. So, was there anything else he should have asked, if he wanted or needed to. |
