"Traveling makes me tired," she said sleepily and patted the bed beside her. "Perhaps a little nap before we eat dinner?" She lifted a hand to her mouth and yawned again.

"If the lady wishes." Honestly, Charles wasn't particularly tired but he was more than happy to settle down next to her and snuggle up with his wife to be while she slept. The feeling of her pressed against him was more than enough reason for him to agree to do so.

She curled up against him and snuggled into him, glad to be in his arms. The girl fell into a deep sleep not long after, an indication of her tiredness from the journey. It would be about an hour or so before she actually awoke for supper.

While Charles didn't quite fall asleep, he did get comfortable and he was dozing quite lightly when she began to stir. "I see sleeping beauty is awake." The man says with a soft chuckle. "Here I thought I was going to have to give you a kiss to get you up if you slept any longer."

"I would never turn down a kiss from my sweet prince," she said softly and cupped his cheek. Her eyes, sleepy, peered at him. "Mmm, hello."

"Hello." Charles echoed her greeting as he leaned in and kissed her softly, letting his lips linger against hers for a moment before he pulled away. "Did you enjoy your little cat nap?" He inquired with a grin as he reached out to stroke her cheek lightly mirroring her own action.

"I did," she murmured and then stretched her lithe form against his. Her mouth pressed to his again and she said against his lips, "You still wish to marry me, Charles?"

Charles chuckled lightly as he felt her lips whisper over his own. "Should I not be the one asking you that my dear?" The response is delivered with a playful grin. "After all, I think I am getting the better part of this deal. I certainly have no reason to change my mind. Thus far I've found you to be an utter delight and baring you holding some abhorrent view you've yet to share I can't imagine that changing." It wasn't like they were the first couple to have ever gotten engaged while barely knowing the other. Admittedly that was typically something that happened to nobles but he figured they were fine rolling the dice when they were clearly quite well matched in many regards already.

She leaned in and kissed him softly. Her hand shifted to his belly where she rubbed circles. Her eyes were half mast, still sleepy looking. She nuzzled her face against his neck.

"I'll take that as confirmation that we are both quite set on this course of action," Charles said as he let out a deep chuckle as her delicate fingers stroke over his stomach. "Though I am starting to think you don't want to get out of bed."
