"Hopefully they say yes, he's already looking for the lesson books. That is how excited he got when I pointed at the blackboard." She was still excited that something even got through to Edward. "He seems to not mind Jacob overly much," she added. Speaking of, she moved over to scoop him up and check his nappie. She wass really good about stopping by whenever she had a chance, not relying on anyone to take complete care of her child. Still, there was a good point that she would need to find an alternative for her free time.

"If you think the baby won't be a distraction then that will hopefully be true." Eleanor says with a nod of her head. "Now, go turn out the guest rooms Master Ambrose is coming and bringing a few business associates with him next week. Place ain't quite ready for guests but we can make sure things are close enough they shouldn't notice over much."

"Aye, mum," she said, giving a slight curtsy and a nod of her head. She took off to do those things. First, she stopped to grab some linens, then moved on. She soon entered the first bedroom, giving a sigh once she was alone. She rubbed at the back of her neck with her free hand, feeling the hard day of work. But she only paused for the cause for a moment before she began the task of readying the room.

She worked through the next bit of time, humming to herself as she dusted and changed linens. All in all, she did her best to have furniture gleaming, beds with wrinkle free linens and tucked just so. She finished the last room and gave a sigh of satisfaction, hoping her work was up to snuff.
