"Startin' a fire. I'm freezin'." Tobias answered. He glanced at the man. Whatever had possessed him?

"Mm," Anthony hummed again, "well, have fun with that, then." He propped himself up on his elbows for a moment, just to see where the hell that goddamn blanket went, and went right back to faux-sleeping as soon as he'd pulled it back on him. It really was cold.

Tobias was occupied with getting the fire going for a bit. When he was done he rose and started pacing, rubbing his beard with his hands. What the hell was going on here? Had anyone seen? The barmaid! Was she to be trusted? Oh dear, she could send him to prison... his farm would be lost... his reputation... What had he done?!

How did he even fall asleep in the first place? It seemed like such an impossible feat, now, he could barely understand. So, eventually, he admitted defeat and actually woke up, sitting up a bit in bed and stretching his arms. He looked at Tobias. Why was he pacing like that? "Are you okay?" Because clearly what he needed most was to be reminded of Anthony's presence.

Tobias stopped pacing and dropped his hands. He looked at Anthony exasperated. "We could be in so much trouble!"

Anthony blinked. And stared at Tobias. That didn't seem very likely. "Okay."

"How can you be so calm?!" he snapped, as if this was all Anthony's fault.

He closed his eyes, and sighed. The yelling didn't help his headache. "Because," Anthony said, a relatively long silence following, as if he had no idea what to say, "I'm not an idiot."

That didn't help Tobias feel less irritated. "If that barmaid talks, we could both be ruined." he said. He started pacing again.

Anthony sighed yet again, much louder this time. "I think..." he drew out the two words, "...that you should stop thinking." It was getting annoying.
