So was Tobias. He turned over to his side and put his arm around Anthony, drifting further into temporary bliss.

The arm around him surprised him at first, but he didn't dislike it. It was actually kind of nice, once he got past the sheer weirdness of the situation itself. "Right. Well," Anthony spoke again. "good night." He shifted a bit yet again to make himself more comfortable, and then finally closed his eyes.

"Night..." Tobias muttered already half asleep. He soon drifted out of consciousness.

"Mhm," he nodded a bit, and then shut up, thank God. Anthony, despite how drowsy he was, took quite a bit longer to fall asleep, though eventually he managed. This was very nice, actually. It really was too bad that morning was to come.

It was still dark when Tobias woke up, though there was already the noise outside of people starting their day. The candle had gone out, but there was some light from the street lanterns coming through the curtains. As he drifted into consciousness, Tobias became aware both of a terrible pain in his head, and of being comfortably snuggled up against someone, his hand grabbing someone's ass.

He became very aware of that. His eyes shot open and he looked at Anthony. He rolled back fast, managed to bring the blanket along with him, and entangled in the blanket, he fell off the bed, onto the floor, his head just missing the chamber pot.

Anthony most certainly did not appreciate being woken up in such a way. He, light sleeper that he was, instantly jolted awake at the first disturbance. Much too drowsy to care about what was actually going on, he just craned his head to look over the edge of the bed, and exhaled sharply. "You're an idiot," he said, and then turned away, trying to go back to sleep. Though he was far too uncomfortable to succeed in that.

Tobias crawled up, not without a fight with the blanket, and he looked at Anthony with wide eyes. Dear Lord. Had he....? Confused images of last night returned. No... they had not... Though all of this was incredibly inappropriate. And dangerous. What on earth had possessed him to risk his reputation, his property, even his freedom like this? Who had seen them? A thousand anxious thoughts of what might happen to him crossed his mind. If anyone had seen and spoke out, he was ruined. He got up and quickly put on his shirt - he was freezing - and his waistcoat. "We're both idiots...." he gasped.

This was so uncomfortable. Looks like he wasn't going to fall asleep again after all, though he still kept trying. Ugh. His head hurt, too. As if things couldn't get worse. "Mmm," he hummed, as if thinking. "no, just you."

Tobias stared at the man. How on earth could he be so unconcerned. He put on his jacket and his shoes, quietly this time, though inwardly screaming, and then he knelt in front of the fireplace and began building a fire.

The answer: he was tired. Anthony was still trying his best to fall asleep, but his head hurt and he was uncomfortable and everything was awful, so he just gave up. He still looked like he was sleeping, eyes closed and all, though, just because he couldn't be assed to actually get up. "What are you doing over there?" he asked, as he heard some noise.
