"I... I'm an idiot..."

Well, that was clear.

Anthony crossed his arms and stood there awkwardly. "Um. Okay." Should he leave? He very much wanted to leave.

He looked up at Anthony helplessly. "I uh..." He mostly didn't know what he wanted. What a time to sober up! "I need some water." He stood up, walked over to the sideboard and poured himself a glass of water. "Do you need some water?"

Anthony frowned slightly. He came here to get laid, not take part of...whatever this is. "Uh. No, thank you." The urge to just make his leave already was very strong, but he didn't want to be rude.

Tobias drank the whole glass of water at once. He could feel his stomach protest.

He turned to Anthony. He wanted that pleasant sense of touch again. And yet now that it was not there, he wasn't sure what to do. The small man looked uncomfortable. He was seriously screwing this up, wasn't he?

He was still dizzy and his brain slow. "What... do you usually do?"

Anthony was just about to excuse himself and leave when the fellow actually addressed him again. And so he was forced to stay here for at least the duration of this conversation. He tried to force himself to look less uncomfortable. "What do you mean? Like, in general? Or what?"

Could this be more awkward? He walked over. "You know..." Probably not. That's why he had asked.

Okay. He should stop. Was this worth the danger? Was it worth committing adultery?

... Was it adultery if it was with a man, and he had never touched his own wife?

He'd be all alone again, the faithful husband, the man of self-control, responsible. For the rest of his life.

Screw that. He began unbuttoning his waistcoat. "Like this?" Perhaps the most painful thing about slowly sobering up was that he began to be aware of how he was an idiot.

Ah. He understood now. He opened his mouth to answer, but it seemed that wasn't necessary. "Ah. Well. Yes?" The man's statement was phrased as a question, so he felt obligated to answer in some way. Well, it seemed that all that angst was done and over with and that he was gonna get laid. That was good. He crossed his arms and looked at Tobias, raising his eyebrows. This was turning out to be interesting.

He felt awkward with the man looking at him like that, but he finished unbuttoning and tossed his jacket and waistcoat over a chair - with some effort, for moving his shoulder hurt. He laughed awkwardly. "Are ye gonna keep starin'?"

Anthony, on the other hand, made no effort to undress at all, and just kept standing there, though he did uncross his arms. "I might," he said. Now that the situation was truly beginning to dawn on him, he felt a little uncomfortable, but not enough for it to bother him.
