"I don't think so," Anthony shrugged.

Tristan nodded again and made a note. "Alright then. I have to do a physical examination first, alright?" He stood up and took his stethoscope.

"Right. That's fine." He didn't really understand how a physical examination could show any insight about his mental health, but okay.

Tristan placed the end of the stethoscope on Anthony's chest and listened for anything unusual. "Can you cough, please?"

It wasn't as uncomfortable as he assumed that it would be. Definitely better than the interrogation. He'd almost even zoned out again, but the man talking stopped that from happening. He obeyed, and coughed.

Since he could not hear anything unusual, he put the stethoscope away. He sat back down and wrote some notes on his notepad. "Can you tell me in your own words what happened on the night of your arrest, Mr. Rowe?"

And back to the interrogation. "Got real mad at a priest, shouted at him a little bit, constable didn't like that, arrested me, got put into the same cell as this one little bitch, said little bitch accused me of assaulting him, cop said I'm probably insane and then let me go after a bit, I guess." He didn't actually remember whether that all happened in the span of one day or more, but oh well.
