Anthony frowned. Was this supposed to help? Because it didn't. At all. Now he just kind of felt worse than befote. He stayed seated, and looked at the man, waiting for him to leave.

The door opened and Tristan left to report to the constable and leave Anthony at his mercy.

Anthony was simultaneously very glad and very terrified. He opened his mouth to say 'goodbye', but the man had already walked out of the door by the time he'd done that. Anthony just sat in the chair, put his hands on his face and zoned out for a moment. He was about to revel over things not being able to get any worse until he remembered how the constable was probably going to like, talk to him as well. Oh.
