Anthony, in an effort to be as annoying as humanly possible, followed him. "Don't ignore me," he said, very annoyed yet again.

Charles almost hoped this guy was indeed an older looking teenager and would get in trouble with his parents. He continued pacing, trying even harder to ignore Anthony.

Anthony wasn't going to give up yet. He walked alongside the man, and looked up at him, very displeased with his behaviour. "I told you to not ignore me."

Charles stopped and folded his arms. "Why would I want to talk to someone like you?"

Aaand that pleasure was gone. Anthony frowned, and then started pacing alongside the man. "Pay attention to me," he demanded.

Had to be a child. Charles continued to pace, ignoring the younger man, or child, or whatever.

"Pay attention to meee," he repeated in a kind of whiny voice. This was killing him. He just looked up at the man and kept pacing with him.

Charles almost stopped pacing, because this was so bizarre. But determined to annoy the man, he continued pacing as if Anthony was not there.

Why was this even working, he wondered.
