Troubled Times [Streets, Yards, and Homes] - Sonia DeAngelis - 08-06-2020

Sonia opened her eyes. A smile was on her face at first when she found herself in the arms of her lover, Meyer. There was a warmth and contentedness to the situation at first as she drowsily stretched next to him. Her eyes were half closed against the morning light that filtered in through the windows… Morning light.

Suddenly, she sat up in a panic. Shit! She had fallen asleep when she was supposed to have snuck back into the Carrington house. What was she going to do?!

She rolled out of bed and hurriedly pulled on her clothing, shaking the whole time, so much so that she fumbled with buttons and fastenings. Shit, shit, shit! What was she going to do?! The prospect of being seen outside during the daylight frightened her so.

RE: Troubled Times - Meyer Whitlock - 08-07-2020

Meyer was already half-awake when Sonia sat up and he murmured softly into her skin as she started to move, "'Morning, love." And then she was out of bed and he blinked open his eyes. Wait- it was morning? He wasn't too worried about it- until he saw Sonia panicking as she rushed into her clothing. He slipped out of bed and drew on his pants, then went to her and helped her with a row of buttons, understanding her worry. "Sonia- Sonia, take a breath," he pleaded with her and gently held her shoulders. "Wherever you need to go, I'll get you there."

RE: Troubled Times - Sonia DeAngelis - 08-07-2020

"I snuck out of the Carrington house," she said, trying to take a deep breath but finding her lung capacity lacking for the moment. She was definitely in a panicked state. With his help, she got her buttons buttoned and her fastenings fastened. "Thank you," she said shakily, then a wave of nausea hit her from the baby and she gagged. "Washroom?" she asked behind her hand, which had moved up to cover her mouth in an effort to keep herself from getting ill all over poor Meyer. Oh but this morning was not a good morning, it felt like. She hadn't meant to fall asleep. While it was nice to wake up next to Meyer, it was very frightening to think she had been so stupid as to not go back in the dead of the night to sneak into the Carrington house where she had been in hiding.
